The result of oversleeping usually is a minor inconvenience be it being late for work (or another appoitment), missing a flight, etc. However, in the case of George Eads (CSI actor), it temporarily cost him his job.
George Eads stars as Nick Stokes in CSI, a role he's been starring in since 2000. However, July 2004 almost marked the end of his CSI career when an oversleeping incident was mistakenly viewed as a salary holdout. According to USAToday.com, CBS thought that when Eads and co-star Jorja Fox failed to show up for work that they were staging a salary soldout. The two stars were fired because of this, but eventually rehired back after Eads claimed it was all a misunderstanding and he actually overslept.
Whether or not his story is true, the story does qualify George Eads as a "Sleeping Star".
